About the project

During this campaign, select restaurants will offer items on their menu that were made using miso products from four members of the Hokkaido Miso Soysauce Manufacturers Cooperative. Please visit the designated restaurant, try the food that was made with Hokkaido miso, and post about the experience on Instagram.

Please be aware that any posts and photos related to this project may be reproduced on the client website, on Japan Spark, on SNS and printed materials, etc. 

About Hokkaido Miso

During the harsh winter, where hope and despair went hand in hand every day, miso soup was a staple dish for many of the poorer Japanese households.

Wanting to provide high-quality, delicious miso, master brewers labored long and hard in their efforts to develop a method of brewing miso that was suited for the cold Hokkaido climate. 

Our Hokkaido Miso is unique in its honest and refined flavor, which is derived from the pure water of the beautiful natural surroundings.

After the Meiji era, many settlers from all over mainland Japan moved to this area, each one bringing recipes from their birthplace. As time went by, these recipes gradually changed into what is now known as the regional cuisine and the specialties of Hokkaido.

Regarding Instagram Posts

At one of the participating restaurants, order from one of the four menus offered by the Hokkaido Miso Soysauce Manufacturers Cooperative. There are four menus to choose from. Please introduce the menu and campaign in your post. More details will be provided once the participants have been selected.

Application period December 22nd, 2023 - January 4th, 2024
Required number of participants 3 (If there are many applicants, the participants will be selected by the client).
Selection Date January 8th, 2024 (tentative). All selected participants will be notified via email.
Restaurant Visiting Period Mid to end-January 2024 (tentative). ※ The campaign is scheduled to run for two weeks.
Remuneration 200 SGD

If you send us a photo of your receipt from the restaurant, you will be reimbursed for the food and drink up to a maximum of 180 SGD. Both this and the 200 SGD remuneration will be paid via PayPal, so all participants will need a valid PayPal account. (Please note that participants are responsible for any additional handling fees from PayPal.)

You are welcome to bring friends and family when you visit our restaurants, but please be sure to get their permission if you plan to include them in your posted photographs.
